Beverly Barrett leads in the Harris County Central Appraisal District Board Place 1 race with 544,166 votes, or 57.7%, according to unofficial results from Harris County Clerk Elections Department. Kathy Blueford-Daniels received 399,539 votes, or 42.3%.

All 1,159 reporting units had reported as of 8:39 a.m. CST on Nov. 4. Barrett led by 144,627 votes, a margin of 15.4 percentage points, out of 943,705 votes counted.Results remain unofficial until the canvass is complete. This article does not declare a winner.
