Arwa Yemeni Coffee, a specialty franchise, is headed to FM 2920 in Spring with what the chain says will be its first location with a drive-thru.
The new shop will open at 550 FM 2920, Community Impact reported Thursday, Nov. 5, citing an Instagram post from the business. An opening date has not been announced.
The franchise brings Yemeni coffee culture to its menu. Traditional drinks include mofawer, a Yemeni preparation, alongside specialty options like the Sand Dune Latte. Candles and other products are also for sale, according to the company's website.
The Spring location will be the company's first to feature a drive-thru, according to the business's Instagram page, as Community Impact reported. Existing locations feature sit-down dining rooms and private rental spaces, according to the company's locations page.
The chain is a majority female-founded franchise named after Queen Arwa, a historical Yemeni figure. Its original location opened in Richardson, which the company calls "Texas' first Yemeni coffee shop."
