Section 3301 Bar & Eats has opened at 3301 Louetta Road in Spring, replacing Hero's Bar & Grill at the address with a new sports bar concept.
The business is running a soft opening through Nov. 20 and plans a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 22, according to My Neighborhood News.
The spot at 3301 Louetta Road, Suite 204, was previously home to Hero's Bar & Grill, which was known for casual dining, sports viewing, karaoke nights and a menu that included burgers, wings, street tacos and fried catfish. Former patrons have already asked on social media whether traditions like Friday night karaoke and crawfish will carry over, My Neighborhood News reported.
Section 3301 has described itself as an entirely new concept rather than a renamed version of Hero's. The new team has publicly acknowledged the former owners, Steve and Alicia, and the relationships they built at the location.
According to the business, its leadership team brings more than 30 years of combined experience in restaurants, bars, hospitality and sporting events. The bar's name is a nod to stadium seating, meant to evoke the feeling of watching a game from a favorite section.
The soft opening menu features bone-in and boneless wings with six sauce options, including Nashville Hot Honey and Korean Gochujang. Entrees include the Blitz Burger, Grilled Chicken Club and Meatball Sub. Appetizers range from Pizza Nachos to Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and Pizza Dough Beignets.
The drink menu leans into the sports theme with cocktails named Hail Mary, Sudden Death and Overtime. A moonshine cocktail lineup uses Sugarlands Distilling Co. products served in mason jars. Bottled and canned beer is available, with draft beer listed as coming soon.
The dessert menu includes Gelu Italian Ice in flavors like mango and watermelon, plus specialty items such as the Mangonada, made with mango Italian ice, chamoy, Tajín and peach gummy rings.
The owners have indicated plans for live entertainment, game-day events and food and drink promotions beyond the soft opening period.
Section 3301 Bar & Eats is located at 3301 Louetta Road, Suite 204, Spring, TX 77388. The grand opening weekend runs Nov. 21–22.
