A faith-based fitness center has opened on W. Hardy Road in Spring, offering personal training, group classes and recovery services under one roof.

Foundation Iron held its soft opening Saturday, Oct. 10, at 27323 W. Hardy Rd., Suite 412. Founders Dean and Wendy Ford describe the gym as a place where faith comes first and members can train without compromising their values, according to the business's website.

The gym's website says the business was created to fulfill a calling, not simply to open another gym. The site describes a community where hard work, integrity and perseverance guide how members train and treat one another. Its operating motto: "Faith First. Community Always. Excellence Every Day."

Services include one-on-one personal training, semi-private coaching capped at four members per session, and group fitness classes covering strength and conditioning, functional fitness, mobility, and endurance, according to the gym's services page.

Foundation Iron also offers personalized nutrition coaching and a full competition prep program for physique competitors. That includes a dedicated posing room, body composition guidance and stage presentation practice.

The recovery menu is extensive. It lists chiropractic care, massage therapy, a traditional sauna, infrared red light bed, cold plunge therapy, compression boot therapy, NEUBIE® neuromuscular therapy and InBody body-composition testing.

Meal-prep company Cali Cooks Meals announced on Instagram on Oct. 3 that its products will be available for purchase at the Spring location.

@calicooksmeals: "This is more than a gym—it's a community built around faith, fitness, discipline, and bringing people together."

First-time clients can book a free intro class at foundationirontx.com, Community Impact first reported. Founding memberships were listed as coming soon on the website as of Oct. 13. The gym's phone number is 281-941-6430.

The Oct. 10 event was billed as a soft opening. A formal grand opening date has not been announced.
