Klein Cain volleyball sweeps Magnolia West, Klein Collins

Klein Cain's varsity volleyball team swept Magnolia West 3-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Magnolia West High School.

Two days later, the Hurricanes posted another 3-0 sweep, this time over District 15-6A rival Klein Collins at home on Friday, Sept. 4, according to the Klein Cain athletics newsletter.

Klein Cain's younger squads also won on Sept. 4. The JV team beat Klein Collins 2-0, the 9th Grade A team won 2-0, and the First Team took a 2-1 decision.

The two sweeps followed a 1-1 showing on Aug. 28, when the Hurricanes beat Wylie Preparatory Academy 2-1 before falling to Stratford 0-2, according to the program's earlier newsletter.

Klein Cain's JV squad was scheduled to compete in the Legends JV Showcase on Saturday, Sept. 5.
