Spring families have until Friday, Aug. 14, to sign up for Klein Soccer Club's Fall 2026 recreational season, though a $10 late fee now applies on top of the standard $80 registration cost.

The regular deadline passed Sunday, Aug. 2. Parents can still register online at kleinsoccer.com or visit the club's office at Meyer Park during walk-in hours: Wednesdays from 4–6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The $80 fee covers a jersey, shorts and socks. The recreational program is open to boys and girls ages 3–15 at all experience levels.

Practices begin the week of Monday, Aug. 24. Games run Saturdays from Sept. 12 through Nov. 14 at Meyer Park, 7700 Cypresswood Drive in Spring. The club office sits in the blue building on the north side of the park, in front of Field 5.

The season carries extra weight for the organization. Klein Soccer Club celebrated its 50th anniversary in June, marking five decades of youth soccer in the Spring area. The nonprofit started in 1976 with 300 players practicing behind area schools. It now serves roughly 4,000 children each season across recreational and competitive programs, according to Community Impact and the club's website.

The club's Instagram account noted the milestone in a July 22 registration post, calling the upcoming fall "extra special" and crediting 50 years of "building confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a love for the game."

The 10-week season is the club's longest continuous stretch of play. Younger age groups stay at Meyer Park for all games, while older recreational players (U11 through U19) may travel to fields in The Woodlands, Cy-Fair, Kingwood and Magnolia.
