Two suspects face felony theft charges after allegedly stealing about $1,150 in merchandise from a Spring business on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The pair fled on foot, according to investigators.

Deputies with Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable's office responded around 8:49 a.m. to a business in the 2900 block of Riley Fuzzel Road after a report of a theft in progress, Woodlands Online reported. The two suspects had entered the store, selected the merchandise and walked past all points of sale without paying.

Patrol deputies converged on the area to search for the suspects. The Precinct 3 Criminal Interdiction Unit joined the effort and located both individuals in the 3800 block of Louetta Road.

The Riley Fuzzel Road business sits in Spring's Montgomery County section, while the arrest on Louetta Road occurred across the county line in Harris County. That cross-county geography brought two constable offices into the same case.

During the investigation, deputies linked the pair to a separate theft at a business in the 21100 block of Kuykendahl Road, also in Spring on the Harris County side.

The constable's office identified the suspects as Gregory Paul Tucker of Spring and Noralba Zetino of Humble. Both were charged with State Jail Felony Theft with two or more prior convictions. Zetino faces an additional misdemeanor theft charge.

Gable's office said it coordinated with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's office during the arrest. Herman's office covers north Harris County, including much of the Spring area. Gable publicly thanked Herman's deputies for their assistance.

The constable's release did not name the businesses targeted on Riley Fuzzel Road or Kuykendahl Road. The type of merchandise taken was also not disclosed.
