Spring ISD will host a free Virtual Family Night for Pre-K families at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, on Zoom.

The district announced the session on X, saying it will cover what it means to be a Spring ISD parent and ways to volunteer and get involved. A third topic was listed but cut off in the post.

The event is open to all families with children in the district's Pre-K program. Spring ISD offers free, full-day Pre-K for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds.

"The years between ages three and five are some of the most powerful learning years a child will ever experience," Dr. Jennifer Bassett, then identified as the district's Pre-K coordinator, said in a February district blog post when Pre-K applications opened for the 2026-27 school year.

The district has said students who attended its Pre-K programs consistently outperform peers on third-grade STAAR Reading and Math assessments.

Families can join the Sept. 10 session using the Zoom link in the district's post. Those with Pre-K questions can reach Spring ISD at [email protected].
