Spring shooting leaves man in critical condition

Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) deputies found a man with a gunshot wound in Spring on Thursday, Oct. 8, and transported him to a hospital in critical condition.

Deputies responded to the 9100 block of Rippling Field Drive, where they located the adult male victim, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on X. Gonzalez posted the update early Friday, Oct. 9. The sheriff's office did not release the exact time of the shooting.

No suspect description has been released. The HCSO has not identified the victim or provided a condition update as of Oct. 11.
