Spring-based Thind Management will open a 92-room extended-stay hotel in late September at 24868 I-45 North after gutting and fully rebuilding the property.

Staybridge Suites Spring–The Woodlands Area will offer studios and one- and two-bedroom suites aimed at corporate travelers working at nearby campuses, including ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Chevron Phillips Chemical, according to Woodlands Online. The hotel sits roughly between The Woodlands, City Place and Old Town Spring.

The family-owned company handled the project's development, design and construction and will operate the finished hotel. Thind stripped the existing building to its bones and installed new interiors, furnishings and kitchenettes throughout all 92 rooms.

"Our team has been deeply involved in this property's transformation from the ground up … This Staybridge Suites reflects the same hands-on approach and long-term commitment we bring to every project," Surpreet Singh, president of Thind Management, said in an announcement.

Each suite will include a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and sink. Room types range from studios to two-bedroom layouts.

Outside, the hotel will feature a swimming pool, pickleball and basketball courts, and barbecue areas. Guests also get complimentary breakfast, free parking and the brand's evening social gatherings on select nights.

Kevin Viteri, Thind Management's vice president of hospitality operations, said the company targeted the I-45 corridor because of north Houston's continued corporate growth. Before joining Thind, Viteri managed the 300-room Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites at the Houston Medical Center and the Embassy Suites at Hughes Landing in The Woodlands, according to Asian Hospitality.

The hotel's location also puts guests near Old Town Spring's walkable district of more than 100 independent shops, galleries and restaurants. Other nearby employers listed in the announcement include Expand Energy Corporation, Huntsman Corporation and ABS Group.

Thind Management has not announced a specific opening date beyond late September 2026.
