Three Harris County Precinct 4 deputies were commended Thursday, Aug. 13, after their investigative work led to the apprehension of nine aggravated robbery suspects.

Constable Mark Herman's office announced on X that Corporal Perez and Deputies Castro and Blackerby were recognized for what the agency described as outstanding police work in the robbery investigations.

The office did not release details about the robberies, including when or where they occurred, whether the suspects have been formally charged, or whether the nine cases are connected. No suspect names or case numbers were provided.

Aggravated robbery, which involves the use or exhibition of a deadly weapon during a theft, is a first-degree felony in Texas. The commendation signals that the three deputies' work spanned multiple investigations rather than a single incident.

Precinct 4, headquartered on Cypresswood Drive in Spring, serves approximately 1.1 million residents across 520 square miles of north Harris County, including the communities of Spring, Klein, Cypress and The Woodlands. Constable Mark Herman has led the office since 2015.

The agency has not indicated whether additional suspects are being sought or whether the investigations remain open. No independent news coverage of the underlying robbery cases has surfaced.
