Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies are investigating a robbery in the 11600 block of Wingborne Lane in Spring, with a heavy law enforcement presence on the residential street.

Constable Mark Herman's office announced the active investigation Monday, Aug. 10, on X, warning residents to expect a significant police presence and asking them to avoid the area while deputies worked the scene.

The office paraphrased the situation as an active robbery investigation with no additional details about what occurred or who may be involved.

Precinct 4 has not released suspect descriptions, arrest information or details about what was taken. No injuries have been publicly reported. The block was an active scene at the time of the announcement.
