Two suspects broke into a storage unit on Atascocita Road in late June and stole more than $10,000 in property, and Harris County Constable Precinct 4 is now asking the public to help identify them.

Deputies responded to a storage facility in the 6500 block of Atascocita Road on June 27 after the burglary was reported, according to a statement from Constable Mark Herman's office. Video surveillance captured a man and a woman removing property from the unit.

Investigators determined the suspects allegedly used fraudulent information to rent units at the same facility, the office said.

No arrests have been announced.

Constable Herman's office released four surveillance photos of the suspects on its X account on Monday, Aug. 17, roughly seven weeks after the break-in. The images show both the male and female suspect, though the office has not released written physical descriptions. Residents who believe they recognize either person from the photos are asked to come forward.

"If you recognize either suspect or have any information regarding Case #2606-03706, you are urged to contact Constable Mark Herman's Office or your local law enforcement agency," Herman said in the Aug. 17 statement.

The surveillance photos are available on the office's Instagram page at @ConstablePct4 and its Facebook page. The text descriptions in all three posts are identical, directing residents to the same images and case number.

Precinct 4, the largest constable's office in the United States, serves north Harris County including the Spring and Atascocita areas. The 6500 block of Atascocita Road sits within the precinct's patrol territory east of Highway 59.

The investigation remains open, and no timeline for potential arrests has been given.
