A convicted felon threatened multiple people with a knife at a McDonald's on FM 1960 Bypass Road West near Kenwick Drive on Tuesday, Aug. 18, then left the restaurant before deputies arrived, according to Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Deputies with Constable Mark Herman's office located the suspect, Noron Bryant, nearby and took him into custody. They recovered the knife.
Bryant was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Harris County Jail with bond set at $50,000.

The arrest marks the second aggravated assault case on the FM 1960 Bypass Road West corridor in less than a week. Precinct 4 deputies made a separate aggravated assault arrest near 8400 FM 1960 Bypass Road West on Saturday, Aug. 15. That earlier incident involved a different suspect and different circumstances, though both cases were handled by Herman's office.
The FM 1960 corridor through Spring is one of the busiest commercial stretches in Precinct 4's jurisdiction, which covers north Harris County including the Spring and Klein areas.
