Klein ISD's Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district's 2027-28 school calendar during its regular meeting Monday, Oct. 5.
Trustees selected "Calendar A" from three options the district had put before the community in a survey. Staff, parents, students and community members ranked the three proposals, and Calendar A drew the most support across every group, according to a district announcement. The board adopted it based on that feedback.
Klein ISD did not release the number of survey respondents or the margin by which Calendar A led the other two options.
The district, which serves more than 51,000 students across more than 50 campuses in Harris County, includes Klein Collins High School and four other high schools drawing students from the Spring area.
The approved calendar is available at www.kleinisd.net/calendar.
