A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday, Aug. 12, after a major crash near Juergen Road and Willow Bend Drive in Spring.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the scene and confirmed EMS was already working on the motorcyclist, according to the agency's initial traffic alert on Facebook. The Precinct 4 constable's office then posted an update on X at 12:44 p.m. confirming the motorcyclist had been transported by Memorial Hermann Life Flight to a local hospital for treatment.

As of the 12:44 p.m. update, deputies remained on scene investigating and the road was still impacted. The constable's office did not specify whether the crash involved another vehicle, what caused the collision or how fast the motorcyclist was traveling.

The motorcyclist's condition has not been released. No name has been made public, and the constable's office has not indicated whether any charges are pending or whether other drivers were involved.

The incident marks the third significant crash in the Spring area in less than a week. A driver was trapped in a crash on Mason Road on Monday, Aug. 10, and a separate wreck shut down part of I-45 on Saturday, Aug. 8. Each involved different locations and circumstances, but the cluster underscores the risks facing motorists on busy Spring-area roads during summer traffic.
